Dr. Lonnie Davis has had the joy of practicing veterinary medicine since May of 2008 when he graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine! His focus is mostly on internal medicine and surgery of companion animals (dogs and cats) but he occasionally cares for farm animals and some exotic animals (no snakes however). Dr. Davis has practiced veterinary internal medicine and surgery at animal hospitals in Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Cornelius, North Carolina. He and his family of five children (Bethany, Paul, Lydia, Abigail and Timothy) have lived in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina (Mooresville) since November of 2011. Dr. Davis's genuine passion for veterinary medicine stems from growing up on a cattle ranch in Lee, FL to loving parents Archie, a cattle rancher and Patsy, an elementary school teacher. For the past 11 years, Dr. Davis has served pet owners in Lake Norman and surrounding areas of North Carolina through his mobile practice, Davis Mobile Veterinary Service (which is currently a division of Faith Veterinary Hospital). Robbin, Dr. Davis's wife, their five children (at times) and students interested in veterinary medicine assist at Faith Veterinary Hospital and look forward to serving you and your pets! Faith Vet Hospital is an animal hospital in Mooresville that strives to practice veterinary medicine with Godly integrity and compassion. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary service for your pets on each visit, in a familiar environment with the same veterinarian! With the growing demand for veterinary medicine in the Mooresville area, our stationary office in Mooresville was opened to provide increased appointment availability over what we were previously able to provide with our mobile service. While our stationary hospital (Faith Veterinary Hospital) is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 6 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, our mobile unit is reserved for clients within a 10 mile radius of the hospital that can not bring there pet(s) in and operates Friday's from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
